I came across this unique birch grove in the White Mountains after a very long, rainy day hiking through the Flume. The grove was quite a ways off the beaten path, but the group of photographers I was with found it. It was like a rainbow on a rainy day: a rare but beautiful sight. I loved the vibrant orange leaves, shiny with the remnants of the rain, and their reflection in the puddles.
